‘Coast’ is inspired by memories of the shoreline, a place where Phil feels truly relaxed and in time with himself. His prints are created digitally by collaging photographic images of natural stone, including marble, onyx and granite. The amazing colours, textures and patterns of these natural surfaces are his main focus when composing each piece.
