they roam their territory.

With pointed ears, piercing look
and in ideology-free herds
they find their prey.

Silently, with clarity and unnoticed
they wait for the right moment.

Finally they shoot down
like an arrow
to forge their claws into the victim.

And despite their misdeeds,
their strength keeps them untouchable
for those below them in the food chain.

They are all successful at times.
Too tempting the sweet power.
