“The deep connection to colours is what connects us.” With this device, artist Kim Kluge portrays people and their colours. True colors Andy shows Kim’s interpretation of artist Andy Warhol. The felt used to create this work is a subject of the very topical theme ‘social warmth’.
Warhol, a figure of light and air. Sensitivity paired with constant absence. Not from this world. Hardly up arrived this earth, also gone again. In conversation he seems to prefer being somewhere else. A man passing through to the moon or Mars? He seems to be floating. Just a touch of presence.
A difficult person to see through does not correlate with his colorful pop art works. The core of its being: pastel tones, light yellow and light blue.
