Inspired by the iconic British film “Quadrophenia”, which was filmed in Nicholas’ hometown Brighton. The artist’s interest in the classic Vespa scooter was first aroused when he saw it during the Brighton scooter Rally many years earlier.

Part of a series of digital drawings of cars and other vehicles, inspired by the life and passion of the artist’s father; car manufacturer and former successful race driver Jem Marsh. As founder of Marcos Cars, from 1959 to 2002 Jem and his team designed and produced elegant, innovative and distinctive sports cars that were ahead of their time, and are now treasured by their many fans and owners around the world.
